A BLACK FLOWER IN ASTEROID B612

I have drawn flower, the symbol of Fragility in 2009.
This is a flower in the picture book “The Little Prince” written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
The Prince left the flower alone in Asteroid B612.

Flower’s color of bright red started fading, the color turned black because nobody fed her water.
She, the flower deemed that she had nobody to water her.
She was dried up, broken into pieces.
She became a dust in the space.
She closed her eyes again.

She imagined that dried herself would become broken pieces only to return to the earth where the prince visited.
She was ready to die believing in an afterlife.

This is a work of NPB, New Painting in Bathroom, drawn on the bathroom partition glass of Hotel in Delhi by oil pastel and applied by Japanese black and green ink, and erased soon, so there is no original drawing, that’s why this is “Fragile Art”
